General Motors has reworked the 3.6-liter V6 engine used in the CTS for the 2012 model year, boosting output while maintaining the fuel-economy ratings of the less-powerful V6 from 2011. The 2012 version of the V6 delivers 318 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. That compares with 304 hp and 273 lb-ft for the 2011 version.
Rennsport IV, three days of serious Porsche love at Mazda Racway Laguna Seca, concluded on Sunday with a half-dozen races around the picturesque track near Monterey, Calif. Hyundai has unveiled its HCD-14 Genesis concept at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The HCD-14 Genesis concept provides a glimpse of Hyundai's future design direction and features the carmaker's latest technologies, such as eye-tracking and gesture-based controls. At the front of the concept brushed metal grille surfaces feature with a deep vertical grille opening while LED daytime running lights are integrated into the bottom of the fender.
